HABAGAT TO CONTINUE BRINGING RAINS OVER PARTS OF LUZON, VISAYAS
Speaking on #MetroMorning, meteorologist Benison Estareja said the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is expected to persist in the coming days, with no immediate signs of its weakening.
Within the next 24 hours, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro are expected to see the highest chances of rainfall, including occasional heavy rains that may trigger flooding and landslides.
Estareja also noted that parts of Central Luzon, Camarines Norte, Aklan, Antique, and Capiz may experience rains due to the Habagat, while other areas of Luzon may see cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Zambales and Bataan were under a Yellow Rainfall Warning as of Friday morning.
